PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An animation closing billboard project for Naichayu Exhibit an architectural exploration of the Kalinga tattoo.
Produced by the Center for Campus Art, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. Whang-Od is known as the last Kalinga mambabatok or tattoo artist in the Kalinga village of Buscalan. The animation illustrate the process of tattooing, using the thorn needle attached to the end of a small bamboo stick and another short stick used to tap the thorn into the skin.
