    The featured project showcases the identity done for an official NBB alligned basketball franchise in the Netherlands. BVAlphia Tigers has featured a sweet kitten-like look for 49 years, but decided to switch gears and launch a new profile to honor their 50th year anniversary. This year of festivities campaigns under the moniker: No more kitties. Now 100% tigers! The client wanted the logo to be highly aggressive and in tune with the club's players, playing philosophy and tenacity. Also, the logo needed to communicate playfulness through its typeface while a tiger oozes the clubs longevity; surviving like a tiger in the Dutch basketball jungle where many clubs have disappeared, still standing strong. The decision to launch the new profile for the 2016-2017 season during its celebratory all-star day, and not in the offseason, was deliberate for maximum local exposure and the possibility for it to be unveiled by an alderman.
