Graded Unit Project, Branding & Responsive Web, 2017

1st Year: Graded Unit Project

Responsive Website & Brand Identity Design

The Brief:

OFFSET Glasgow is looking for a bold and visually interesting website, which provides information and has a facility to book tickets for the all events during the conference. The website objectives are:

To be an informational website for OFFSET Glasgow aimed at creative industry students and professionals.
A logo and visual language specific to OFFSET Glasgow.
To be an online booking portal for talks and workshops.
To provide information on the three creative practitioners (a Graphic Designer, a Photographer and an Illustrator) working in Scotland. Including text, imagery and video content about them and their work.
Either a responsive or an adaptive website.

OFFSET Glasgow need a brand and website style that will appeal to a very visually aware audience. The client wants the website to acknowledge and embrace the ‘Made in Scotland’ theme but handled in a contemporary way, avoiding the usual visual clichés associated with Scotland. The site needs to look professional, be easy to navigate and provide relevant engaging content.

I was awarded an A with a grade of 95%.
