Stanley the purveyors of keeping things hot, cold and protected for long time was one of those iconic brands that I have been lucky enough to work on. I served as Art Director, Executive Creative Director and Director on the brand.
The best gear for the worst in everyone
Many of Stanley's products are created to protect your vices. Might be caffeine, might be booze, once a Stanley pint cup was used for an organic carrot juice in Williamsburg. Just the once.
So we decided to get a bunch of fiends together, a few beverages and took them camping. I shot these over 14 hours on the bank of the Columbia River. Edited them together in two days. And they were out in the world by the end of the week. It was a blast.
Stanleyness Fathers Day
For father's day we wanted to take the time to shine the light on all the things that dads do and give some love to the new dads. We created a “Dad Pack” that we gave to hospitals to give to new fathers. After all every dad needs a Stanley.
Leading up to Father's Day we created a series of social ads celebrating dads as well as reminding that every dad could use a Stanley product. In-store posters and organic social posts were created celebrating the true “Stanleyness” that only happens when you are a dad.
Show Some Respect
This campaign for Stanley was targeted at people that love good food and drink. Whether they are just enjoying it or making it we pushed these ads their way. Our goal was to show that a lot of hard work went into that morning coffee, cocktail or beer. Show it a little respect by putting it in a Stanley.
