I created the brand Indikos which is a high-end denim brand concerned with resource conservation in all aspects of their company’s jeans production. The logo is designed to conserve ink when printed, and the tagline poses a challenge to the consumer. Modern, hip, energetic colors adorn the individual garment tags, in-store signage, web site, and magazine advertisements.
Swirling columns of water make the shopper think of the conservation which goes in to each pair of jeans. Outside signage is etched into the front windows instead of using something more environmentally harmful such as vinyl lettering.
Shown are two full-page magazine advertisements for the brand. I photographed the blue splash utilized in the background to represent the principles of water conservation and indigo dye.
