CBD DRIP BRANDING

The Beginning

The CBD Drip project came across my desk in 2014, starting as a brand new concept for the e-liquid industry. The first of its kind in a brand new emerging industry. The branding was originally tailored for the e-liquid / vape industry, however in 2016, a shift was made from the young e-liquid audience to the medicinal community.

In this shift in branding, it was important to maintain the attention of our established audience while inviting a more professional, conservative audience in as well. Seeing as the CBD market had become extremely competitive, we feared falling behind the curve, another added fuel to the fire for a rebrand.

The Hemp Dilemma

During the shift to more conservative packaging, the biggest issue we faced was the hemp leaf previously featured. Anything related to hemp is still fairly grey area, especially in such loosely regulated markets. Because of this, we found it difficult for retail stores to carry our product. So the hemp leaf and anything to do with it needed to go.

The Icon

While making the pivot from hemp based imagery and iconography, we felt we were missing something crucial. Our stamp, something to place a face to a name. Thus, the icon was born. Through the icon, we wanted to represent a trust worthy figure in the industry. Something for the consumer to recognize and establish trust in.
The Eco Products

After reaching success in the vape industry, we wanted to expand into something more. We wanted to begin catering to those that could benefit from CBD without having to vape. The Eco Caps were the first in the family to release, CBD capsules. The ease of access and ability to maintain a regimented schedule made these an obvious first choice.
The Eco Shots

The Eco Shots are the latest in the product line to reach production. Adding another method of consumption, the shots take form of your classic energy shot with an added bonus of CBD to regulate your morning regiment. Along with the Relax model for the nights. I was faced with giving the Eco Family a distinguished face, a look to model all future Eco products after. Uniformity and clarity were key and playing on our classic tri-color scheme to maintain a proper aesthetic across the board.
