The Spring League is an upstart succeeding where others have failed: it’s becoming a feeder league for the NFL, which has no minor league affiliations. Until now, there was no stepping stone for players who weren’t drafted out of college or are looking for a second chance at playing pro ball. The Spring League is changing that.

Now in its second year, The Spring League needed to transition its brand from that of a startup to one that’s set to make a splash in the sports world, with live streaming, tv contracts, and year-round showcases. We designed a site that gave them the ability to connect with fans, tell their players’ stories, and attract corporate sponsors and media partners.

In addition to professional coaching and mentoring from the staff at The Spring League, players are hoping to gain exposure from the NFL team scouts and representatives who show up to scope out the developing talent. To help with that, we created an easy tool for The Spring League to upload rosters and add individual player stats and bios.

Sports fans don’t dip in and out — they want round-the-clock coverage, and NFL fans are paying attention after press coverage from ESPN, Fox Sports, Bleacher Report, and others. Having the ability to create and distribute content is crucial for The Spring League to build their own fanbase. To capitalize on the look-in audiences, we created a content platform to share video highlights, news headlines, and HBO Hard Knocks-style player spotlight features.
