I was invited by Organisation of Illustrators Council Singapore to design a poster for their festivals. Each illustrator of the organization and their featured guests will all design a poster around the theme of Celebration. I pulled most of my colors from animes done in the 80s & 90s when the colors were bright and happy.
My idea of celebration is knowing the face behind the illustration. Often we recognize the illustration style, however, we do not recognize the illustrator. I am curious to see the faces behind the illustrations. The 5 illustrators I selected here are local illustrators whom I admired (there is a lot more wonderful illustrators however due to space constraints, I stuck to 5). I want to celebrate these illustrators by making them into little collectibles that you can get for $2. There's even a special one - can you spot her?
