'Fire House' branding and advertising for VR film.

“The opportunity to film at London Road Fire Station excited me because of its rich past; it was a real opportunity to preserve the history for future generations. I saw potential to reveal the heritage, by utilizing layers of archive footage, including: photographs taken during its heyday, films made for training recruits, and of course the amazing oral history of former residents and workers. Having access to these artifacts has allowed the project to be made using cutting edge technology, which immerses the viewer like no other medium. I wanted to take the audience back in time to revisit the memories of the fire station and allow them to experience what life was like in virtual reality was a huge challenge, but I believe approaching the project in this way has allowed the film to be constructed as a time vessel – the viewer is immersed in time. I feel proud that we have been able to keep a piece of Manchester and global heritage alive.”
