    This sculpture was made in 2016 as my first concept of Turin Turambar, a character inspired by the book The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien. I made it based on the actual description of the character in the book. The pictures below show part of the creation process and some details, like the boots, which I dedicated a lot of time on. It is also worth mentioning that I didn't sculpt it aiming directly to the final desired forms. Under the garments I sculpted every muscle above the knee prior to attaching his armor. Read Less

This sculpture was made in 2016 as my first concept of Turin Turambar, a character inspired by the book The Silmarillion - J.R.R. Tolkien. I made it based on the actual description of the character in the book. The pictures below show part of the creation process and some details, like the boots, which I dedicated a lot of time on. Below, since it was a character concept creation, I created his whole muscular body and bone structure before applying clothes.
