Red Bull RB13 Concept

Each season, Red Bull Racing promotes it’s drivers and new race cars through collectible autograph cards.
The concept for the release of the RB13 race car was driven by the number 13 being unlucky for some, but
perhaps not for Red Bull Racing.

My role was to concept and sketch multiple ideas for this campaign.

After brainstorms and a few different mood boards, my next stage was to sketch the main ideas before presenting
to the client for approval.

The number 13 makes reference to the thirteenth car, bringing the neon sign alongside with the number and with the broken glass we want to prove that superstitions about the number can actually bring luck to our drivers.
