A hair and grooming cosmetics product range launched by Mary Barrett and The Gentry. The branding was introduced as a fresh take on the existing Gentry work that we worked on previously, but it carries its own entity. The logo was drafted with inspiration from the founder's initials and simplified into a symmetrical mark that is adaptive and scaleable when in situ as a living brand. 









The visual style of the brand is built around the logo, monotone colour-scheme, photography style and typography. In packaging, editorial and print design this is framed with negative space. When applied to digital, the grid system is kept very simple, but it is flexible and slightly disrupted when showcasing lifestyle and portrait photography. The online shopping experience remains regimented for quicker and more manageable user-journeys. 









The mobile experience follows the same theme same as its desktop counterpart. Recomposition of the images and more negative space allows users to glide through the site more freely and quickly make use of the online shop.
