The idea was to combine the vibrant and historic culture of New Orleans with iconography of theatre. I took two Mardi Gras masks, faced them towards each other, and gave them the iconic "comedy and tragedy" expressions that are normally associated with theatre. A stylized "fleur de lis" sits in the negative space between them. Cogs sit in place of the eyes to reference the "factory" in the name.
