I was asked by the Pennsylvania Head Start Agency to help them create an annual report to share all the great things that they do for the community.

Our BCIU Annual Report took on a different shape this year. It's a tabloid sheet that folds down to a 5.5 x 5.6 inch square. This is the inside spread where I tried to show all that we do with an infographic. I'm happy to say this won a 2017 American In-House Design Award from Graphic Design USA. Out of the 5,000+ entires received only the top 15 percent are recognized with a Certificate of Excellence.

Our program for children and youth experiencing homelessness, ECYEH, had their second annual conference and asked for my help to brand it. We did this postcard invite, posters, programs, and signage all in the same bright spring palette.
We use a lot of folders for our workshops, summits, and meetings. How to save money and still have a functional pocket to hold all the materials? My answer, the slash folder. Simply branding this photo shows the die cut and artwork.
We need to garner the interest of ninth-graders who may decide to attend Berks Career & Technology Center's program for part of their high school career. This is mailed to the student's homes so the parents are the first audience.
Kutztown Area School District approached me to help them brand their initiative to raise money for a new track and field. I created a square trifold brochure, an square insert for naming rights and a design for a flashcard. The flashcard stores all the documents and information on the initiative.
Pennsylvania Head Start State Collaboration Office enlisted my help to brand their very wordy agency. How best to convey all of their name and include an acronym that they hope will become recognizable with the agency? The heart adds a bit of warmth.
When PA ELIC hosts their summits, they have a need for affordable branding. I designed these three retractable banners that they can carry in, pop up, and display, giving them on-the-go branding.

I have the honor of branding and marketing the annual PAIU Conference with Tom Gluck every year for the past 5 years. It is a huge undertaking, but it all comes together nicely. Branding, signage, posters, program book, handouts, tote bag, tshirt, lanyard, and table tents give a polished look and feel to the event.
What is an intermediate unit? What do they do? These are the most often asked questions that PAIU receives, so we devised an answer. A tabloid sized trifold that provides an overview of IUs. Then a clear triangular pocket inside that you can pop in a local story about your IU. The PAIU website has editorial content provided by each of the 29 intermediate units. We used these and I created a square card to house that information. So PAIU can use this as a marketing tool, but so can each of the 29 IUs while personalizing it with their own story.
The annual Administrators' Conference brings together all of Berks County's 18 school districts. It's the kick off to the school year and we brand it accordingly. All the materials work together, signage, agenda, posters, table tents and name badges.
