The following documentation narrates the story of Jamdani weaving craft cluster of Nadia District in Paschimbanga (West Bengal), based on a study of over a period of three weeks on field and 4 weeks studio work. Through the whole process a thorough understanding of the craft was needed to be acquired on which basis an analysis could be summed. The process involves framing a project proposal that outlines the aim of the research on whose basis field observations. Different methods of researches were practiced: personal interview, observational, preliminary data analysis, etc to achieve a broader understanding of the craft.
