Dunk Fest 2.0 presented by Venice Basketball League and Adidas Hoops in Venice Beach, CA.
Showcasing some of the best dunkers in the World, the VBL Dunk Fest is a day full of friendly competition and insane slam dunks. I was honored to be asked to create the event design and be able to see my work showcased on the backboards of the hoops as these athletes showcased some of their most impressive skills.
The illustration features special guest Larry Nance Jr. dunking over his competition and a custom typographic design of the event title with nods to the beauty of this Venice Beach court and the playful atmosphere of the contest.
