BASES is a nonprofit organization, officially called the "Baseball Academy for Sustaining Education in Sport." The organization was founded with goal of improving college access among inner-city student-athletes while providing high level baseball clinics and skills instruction to those kids and families who would otherwise never be able to afford a similar experience elsewhere. BASES is as passionate about baseball and athletics as they are serious about making college a reality for many of Providence's at-risk youth.
