The Coffee America 2017 project came from a love of coffee and a love of travel, as a way to keep this creative mind 'working' on a two week road trip across the United States.

Portraits of baristas, coffee, shops, and their patrons, are meant to show the lifestyle of the coffee drinker in different states. The hurried drive-thru lanes of the east coast, to the patient pour-over drinkers awaiting their friends for a daily coffee date in Saratoga, California. They tell the story of connection, that people have more in common with each other than we think, if we just find a small base commonality, like a love of coffee.
