National dog adoption month advertising campaign

For the personal investigation section of the final year of A-level Graphic Communication I chose to focus on dog adoption as it is a topic which I am passionate about. I started by asking to photograph people's dogs at the beach to help inspire ideas.
I then used these photos as inspiration for development ideas in different styles, trying to find styles which would work together in the campaign.
From these development idea I chose to focus the final products on mixing handwritten, romantic typography with the images I had taken. I chose this because I wanted to target a younger audience and this style makes the campaign quite personal to the dogs which I feel would appeal to this market. I chose the yellow theme for the campaign as I decided to make it a campaign by well known dog adoption company dogs trust.
