The product is a premium chocolate with original flavour pairings. My brief was to create a brand that complemented the product and gave customers pleasing and memorable associations. From this the idea of two sisters emerged, one sister, the chocolatier, careful and diligent, and the second flamboyant and experimentative; 'Method and Madness'. The whole concept revolved around the idea of pairing these two personality traits within a unified design. The bold and abstract pattern that sits along the right hand-side of the packaging adjacent to the more minimalist side of the design, represents both the ingredients and the flamboyant half of the pairing. As with the two sisters these opposing sides of the design perfectly complement one another.
