WOL presents the wood veneer that you meet in your everyday life in a completely new shape combining with leather: That’s a new experience! The meeting of the hardness of the wood with the softness of the leather offers you a durable, flexible handmade item produced by the designer himself one by one.
The texture of the wood and leather reflects the life of nature and so WOL has a unique %100 natural, living and aging tissue.
The life of the WOL product begins with the selection of best quality veneers and suede leathers. After cleaning the surfaces of both materials, the leather is ready to stitch and to be pasted on wood. Once firmly adhered, it is ready for cutting than for sanding the wood side without losing the texture feeling to be lubricated with protective oil. To finalize the process, leather is brushed using a stiff brush and embossed then regenerated with protective spray. After opening the holes, the laces are ready to put on. WOL stamp is printed as the last and it’s ready for packing. All this process is carried out as craftwork.
The materials are %100 natural and durable against water.
