The urban animal exploration app, where children can document their sightings of animals, learn more about those animals in general and also about the differences in their behavior in cities and their natural environment.

The Idea came up while I was running in the park and suddenly a fox was running past me. I thought it would be a great opportunity for kids at similar occurrences to have a personal journal.
Since nowadays you can more often encounter animals in the cities but the knowledge about those animals, and how to behave in their presence fades more and more away.

Tracking your encounters is a great opportunity to learn about the animals in playful ways.

There are endless possibilities to encounter animals in the cities or on the countryside, and dependent on where you live, they are most diverse. Are there dogs, birds, zebras or dolphins living somewhere in your surroundings?

And although there are more and more people living in the cities, it is important to learn about the species in your surrounding areas.

Near our area, while they went extinct many years ago, there are now wolves coming back. Unfortunately, people are afraid because they are not used to them and are pretty uninformed about how to behave in their presence. Wouldn’t it be cool if your kids could develop awareness for nature and learn those stuff from the scratch?
Awareness makes us less afraid and lets us develop a better relationship with nature!

And even if it is not about wolves, for your kids every chicken, sheep and beetle
will be an adventure! In the app there will be stories to read and games to play.
