The 31st IDA Documentary Awards
The IDA Documentary Awards is the world’s most significant recognition of the best nonfiction films and programs of the year.
Hosted by the International Documentary Association (IDA), the awards are held annually to celebrate and promote documentary films. The award ceremony and dinner also act as a fundraiser the help the IDA—a nonprofit—support nonfiction filmmaking and filmmakers.
In 2015, I collaborated with the IDA to create the event branding, overall look and promotional materials for the 31st annual IDA Documentary Awards. The visual aesthetics was created by abstracting the frames of a film moving from the screen to the viewer.
