My dad is a professor and a writer so he has always had a home office. We’ve moved around quite a bit but his office has, for the most part, never changed much. It’s always a bit messy, covered in office supplies, and surrounded by piles of paper and big books with intimidating titles. Sure, the technology on his desk has updated. He no longer uses a rolodex and a clock radio. But I have distinct memories of when he did. I recreated the desk of my dad as I remember it when I was a kid. I've paired it with his favorite breakfast, granola and yogurt.
The scene below is staged. It is compiled on set, from scratch, by me.
