Typography Booklet Project

Conference Talk Booklet
Here is a mockup of the cover, inside cover, and first page. It gives the talk a little more life.
For this, the final project of my Typography class, I was tasked with creating a booklet that presented the contents of an LDS Conference talk in a creative way that established a strong hierarchy. I was permitted a limit of one picture of the speaker, and the rest was to be completely typography. The color scheme was inspired by the colors in the picture of Elder Gary B. Sabin. Taking the colors from his picture helped to unify to booklet as a whole.
Here is a mockup of pages 4 and 5 of the talk. These pages exemplify the clean lines and neat notes in the margins of the talk.
In order to make the talk more interesting to read, I inserted comments in the margins and subheaders to help readers know where in the talk they are. There is a running header that has the speaker's name in one corner and the title of the talk in the other. The footer contains only the page number. The layout keeps the talk the main focus, but provides enough negative space for the reader to breath.
Here is another mockup. This one is of the final page of the talk and the inside back cover. This booklet presents the talk in an engaging way.
