Huviring.ee is a portal for parents to find their children an after school science class. Teachers can register, fill out the profile for their classes and promote them in this statewide system for free.
I had the pleasure and challenge of visually designing the website and also the brand itself, if a portal's visual style can be called so. I came up with a very simple button like logo, as the name of the portal itself is the web address and we actually want people seeing the name to go and visit the portal. I chose to surround it with a playful two-tone colour scheme to make it stand out from the usual bland information portal style and also to be exciting for children who might see their parents using the site.
It was fun using atomic design in Sketch to create consistent mockups from a library of pre-created elements. This was my first project as a designer where each stage (e.g UX, backend, frontend, design, etc) was done by a separate entity.
