Web Design: Drupal Platform

For several years I served as IT director on the board of an education based non-profit. We put on two conferences each year, with as many as 800 attendees, 104 speakers, and 200 classes. I was in charge of bringing all of that to the web so prospective attendees could learn about and register for the conference.

I designed the web pages on a Drupal based platform, created graphics, and made UX/UI decisions. I didn't have complete creative control, so it's not exactly as I would have done it, I am proud to have been able to contribute to an effort that helps hundreds of families every year.

Here's a snapshot of the home page for:
These three images were created for the slideshow at the top of the home page:
Each of the two conferences had a landing page, where all of the events of the conference had their own section. It was created accordion style, so users could click the "Learn More" button to open up the section and learn more about each conference. The icons I created for LDSHE linked to necessary information such as lodging, registration, etc.
There were a variety of activities planned for each conference in addition to the main events. I created a custom graphic for each activity, and placed them on a landing page similar to the main conference landing pages, again with the accordion set up.
In addition to the conferences, LDSHE has a resource library it maintains as a year round reference for families. I created graphics for each section of the resource library and another accordion style landing page.
