A GrassRoots Talent Revolution
The STEAM + Leadership Academy for Girls, is a week-long program, in partnership with Girls Inc. of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. The goal of the program is to bring STEM practitioners to partner with Millennial women to tackle a social good problem. A way to engage younger girls from the local community to meet smart, dedicated University women and see why doing well academically in STEM classes can be a fun course in life.
Creative Solution:
The STEAM + Leadership Academy for Girls' visual identity is ment to inspire young girls to achieve a career in STEM. Research shows while women make up 47% of the workforce, they hold less than 24% of STEM jobs, yet the demand for STEM talent continues to grow by double digits. So why not make STEM something that girls are excited about and that’s empowering for them?
