Hello, this is my entry for “THE ADOBE 5TH SCREAM CONTEST” using digitally recreated brushes of Edvard Munch for Photoshop created by Kyle T. Webster.
Edvard Munch is one of my favourite painters so I am very honored to participate in this event and I every much enjoyed creating this digital artwork. As I studied few of his paintings, I wanted to reflect on his style and emphasise the feeling of exhaustion and anxiety he felt through the colours and composition of the sunset light and the nature behind the person. When we feel something very shocking or face chaos we feel some kind of emotional scream passing through our mind until we feel emptied out.
I’ve only used Munch Brushes for this artwork and worked on Photoshop CS6 in a A3 format with 300 dpi.
