Urban Intermezzo

Urban intermezzo is a short film about an island (Noordereiland) which is situated in the river Maas surrounded by the city of Rotterdam. The island is connected by two bridges and has approx. 3600 inhabitants. Historically the Noordereiland has been inhabited by skipper-families. Today this unique location gets a growing interest from young families that like to live in a quiet neighbourhood near the city center. The film demonstrates the attractiveness of the island and some of its unique characteristics.
House in the heart of the city shows The City House building, which was constructed in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in 1955. The building is part of a tenfold urban development project (de Lijnbaanflats). Since 2010 the City House is a Dutch national monument. The video is a short impression of the building and it's surroundings, 63 years after completion.
