Wrist pain is often an effect of a long-time contraction of a rectifier and flexor muscle of wrist and fingers during computer work. Forced and constant position of the hand doesn’t allow muscle and ligament relief of the wrist. When wrist comes back to primary position pain and pressure appears. One of possible solutions for pain prevention is introducing instable base during manual labour. The jewelry was designed for user to slightly change the position of the wrist during a work with computer mouse and to effect in convertible muscular work.

The most common neuropathy of upper limb is a carpal tunnel syndrome. Many years of manual labour e.x in front of the computer causes that disease. The symptoms are : losses of feeling and numbness of three fingers : thumb, pointing finger and middle finger. To prevent this affliction physiotherapists perform therapy of the soft tissues, manual muscle therapy and therapy of hands ligaments. Designed piece of jewelry allows users to perform massage along carpal tunnel on their own any time they want. That kind of massage prevent this affliction.

Jewelry with an additional therapeutic function. The collection consists of 6 elements - was designed in cooperation with a physiotherapist, and its effectiveness was confirmed during medical tests. Jewelry helps with wrist pain and wrist overload. Wrist overload is the condition prior to pain, from which pain follows. The shapes of the jewelry allow the hand to be massaged, and pressure to be applied, to relax the hand. Muscle relaxation prevents common wrist diseases e.x carpal tunnel syndrome. The project won the main Progress Prize at the Global Grad Show of the Dubai Design Days, receiving the title best graduate project.
