Emergency Identity is a corporate identity project that I did for my thesis project at the IUAV University of Venice.
The breafing was send me form the Italian association, and was pretty clear:
something cheap, clear, and that has to work on third world country.
Emergency is an Italian NGO, that helps with high quality surgery the civilian war victims. They often fly on third world country to help people, building hospitals.
The idea was to develop an identity with stencils sistems, to have the possossibility to apply the logo very fast, cheap, and very recognisable. Basic idea was to deveolp a first identity kit with a tape, with the logo, that can be used for wrapping stuff, making sign sistems and having a fast brandisation of the product.
Was designed a typeface for the maximum recognability of the association.
The project won the Honor Mention at the Lucky Strike Junior Designer Award.
