SPINADELLO
OVERLAPPING, CREATIVE FONT
I had the idea while working for the creation of a website. Acquedotto Spinadello, is an old acqueduct building, erected around the 30s, in a full fascist architectural style. I did my proposal using the emblem, rised on the top of the building and manifactured in plain concrete, and a neon yellow. Unfortunately my proposal was refused to became the concept of the site, but I used it to create Spinadello font, a creative overlapping font.
The posters sums up the stages of the font: a wireframe (called fil di ferro), a plain colour pierced (forella), and a shadowed solid fake concrete one (cemetificata).
As shown in the art, stages can overlap, creating every time a new effect.
