Taylor’s Timber Centre
I was commissioned to create a fresh look for the identity of a family-run timber merchant that has over 50 years of experience in the wood trade. They required a new logo that had a bold, modern feel whilst keeping a sense of tradition and heritage that's at the heart of the company's ethos.
In the final design, I tried to marry these concepts together through the use of a brighter colour palette and clean, focussed typography. The addition of the icon felt necessary to strengthen a key message that Taylor's is the one stop shop for timber, providing quality materials for all building and DIY projects.
