I wrote my dissertation about the Japanese philosophy of negative space and 'in-between-ness' - ma - in design and storytelling. In this version of Little Red Cap (or Little Red Riding Hood if you will), I applied those concepts to the way I paced the story and made the images. The winter landscape is influenced by the short story The Werewolf, because all fairy tales are improved with a sprinkle of Angela Carter.
