'Judeka' experimental typeface is a project from the creative workshop with Ductstore Design Guru, everyone got a chance to work, study, play and experience with the professional graphic designers for 2 days.
"Morphing Style" is the topic we have to do in this workshop, which is one of the techniques to create something new! They gave us many keywords which we have to morph and create up new things (things that we prefer to do, can be anythings such as product design, poster design, pattern design and etc).
I randomly picked up 3 keywords, which were Deconstruct (style), Jun Takahashi (fashion designer) & Mamafaka (graphic 'n character designer), so I went back and research as much as possible about the keywords I've got. Then I decided to do an experimental typeface by morphing all the style I had research about.
Next, I've got the system and mood&tone for my experimental typeface;
1. the structure from Deconstruct style
2. Punk style from Jun Takahashi and
3. Street style from Mamafaka
When I got my final outcome, I wanted to play and experiment more on it, so I added stroke to some letters according to my research on letter frequency;

A 8.17% B 1.49% C 2.78% D 4.25% E 12.70%
F 2.23% G 2.02% H 6.09% I 6.97% J 0.15%
K 0.77% L 4.03% M 2.41% N 6.75% O 7.51%
P 1.93% Q 0.07% R 5.99% S 6.33% T 9.06%
U 2.76% V 0.98% W 2.36% X 0.15% Y 1.97%
Z 0.10%
I assumed that if the letter had more than 5.0%, the stroke will be added.
Finally, I've got my experimental typeface and named it as the 3 keywords I've got, which surely a display type and hard to read tho!
