Complete Brand Identity, Communications and Activation for the DO MORE Foundation NPO Project
We were recently asked to help with the launch of the DO MORE FOUNDATION. A Corporate Social Investment foundation that focusses on doing more for communities in need across South Africa. The Foundation works closely with large FMCG companies to provide food for the hungry and create sustainable feeding programs in under developed areas.
Part of our role in partnering with the DO MORE FOUNDATION was to create their website. We create a completely custom site that made use of bold editorial imagery of the work done by the foundation. This coupled with a completely responsive and dynamic user interface created an open and inviting repository for all the information needed about the organisation.
Working closely with FMCG giant, RCL FOODS, the DO MORE FOUNDATION initiating a program that allowed employees to add a small contribution to their drink order at the office café. This contribution would go toward helping communities in need.
As part of the communications rollout we created a phased approached to getting employees and external parties alike to understand why the Foundation was being formed and how it would affect them. This rollout included Ecards, informational Posters as well as an integrated social media campaign.
External media for the launch of the DO MORE FOUNDATION included a series of Banners and displays highlighting the foundations 3 key focus areas. These are easing hunger, caring for young children and caring for animals in need.
As part of the launch, we also created the DO MORE meter, an interactive display that tallies the number of meals provided by the foundation to people in need.
The official launch event included an entire media rollout with a live performance from the LIV Village ‘LIV Choir’, an organisation that receives regular aid from the DO MORE FOUNDATION, performing in the RCL FOODS national offices.
