UX design of a fitness app
Sioux is an app for a Madrid start up that guides you to achieve health and wellness. A digital coach will help you with your physical training and your diet. Sioux is a solution for people who want to take care of themselves and don't have time to go to gyms and also for those who don't have money to hire coaches. My role in this project was to carry out the user experience design process and the visual design of the application.

Customer requirements
Once the client's requirements were known, I analyzed the health, fitness and nutrition sector. I also found other apps that make up both direct and indirect competition. I compiled all the relevant information in a spreadsheet and was able to share the results obtained with the client. This was useful for defining a strategy.

User Persona
After doing the business analysis I made the User persona with a hand drawing to define our typical users and select the most relevant one for the subsequent design decisions.

Customer Journey
After creating the user persona, I created a customer journey based on the post its technique. It was a useful tool to know the different points of contact that our user has with the application. This is how we detect their points of frustration and put solutions on the table.

Once the research phase was finished, I began to create the sitemap. Using the sketch tool I obtained a first structure of the application. In this phase I shared my sitemap with the client and together we set the most important functionality of the project.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

After making the sitemap, I created the wire-flows to understand the entire structure of the application. This tool is useful to have a first image of the interfaces and it's navigation.

After the completion of the wire-flows I made the low resolution Wireframes. In a first phase they were sketches made by hand and later with the help of the sketch tool I made the prototypes in high resolution. At this time I already had all the information that the application was going to contain, visually organized.
And finally I outlined the general image that the application was going to have. It is important that the philosophy and values of the company are portrayed in a visual image.
