36 Days of Type

36 Days of Type is a project that invites Designers, Illustrators and Graphic Artists to express their particular view on letters and numbers of our alphabet.

36 days of restless creativity, where participants are challenged to design a letter or number each day, resulting in the outcome of the ability to represent the same symbol from many different perspectives.

A project that aims to be a space for creation around typography and its endless graphic possibilities.

I created a letter a day, giving myself a time limit for each letter and number. I took the opportunity to explore styles I've been interested in and techniques I wanted to learn or sharpen. Most of the outcomes were experimental, pushing beyond my current skill set.

I used multiple programs, my hands and some photography to create the letters and numbers.
