This is one page of 14 illustrations for a children's book I illustrated called Sunny the Sea Turtle, by Sandi White. The backgrounds were created with loose watercolor, and the subjects were rendered with colored pencils. I completed this project within about a month, and Sandi loved the playful yet semi-realistic illustrations.
