Design Concept
AK XB10 is a Wireless Headphone AMP of Qualcomm for a strong wireless hearing of a smartphone sound source using a new Bluetooth codec aptX™ HD. AK XB10 inherited a design language of a design engendered by light and shadow of Astell&Kern and embodied the twinkling stars scattering the light.
The biggest feature is to control the product only by touching the upper face of the product divided into four parts asymmetrically. Because the D click controller face is naturally protruded 1.7mm higher than the body surface together with the engraving of the icon, the location of the play and volume buttons can be found and manipulated with a touch. It looks simple but it took both design and usability into account.

It is also the first Wearable Device of AK series which designed a new type of attachable clip using the tension of a stainless ring for the easy mounting on clothes, pockets, and a suitcase.
