In the summer of 2016 I traveled to Rwanda. I fell in love with the beauty and love of the Country.
The Cross: I took this photo at a mass grave at the Kigali Genocide Memorial. The dark background of the grave represents Rwanda's dark past. The rose represents the beauty that Rwanda is today.
The Women: I photographed these women in Cyangugu, Rwanda as they waved at our bus as we passed.
The Children: This photo was taken on the island of Nkombo on Lake Kivu in Rwanda.
The Tea Field: This is a photo of a black tea field in Rwanda.
The Man: This photo was taken during a canopy walk in Rwanda.
This experience changed my life and I can not wait to see my friends in Rwanda again!
