CRÈME
A University project where we were to create a poster + brochure and also name an exhibition of avant garde fashion featuring some of the best designers from around the world. Crème was the name I came up with, both cream and fashion being synonymous with richness and indulgence. Also, the designers showcased at the event were the crème de la crème of avant garde fashion. 
 
 
The Poster shows cream splattered on a wall against a contrasting black background (photographed by me). With such a close shot, every luxurious detail of the cream is visible. It is at an angle to make the image more dynamic and leads the eye to the logo and names of the designers.
 
The Brochure is printed on transparency and interleaved with translucent paper creating dimension and an ordered chaos of sorts - like what the cream represents in the campaign. Images of low saturation, where details of garment construction are clearly visible, and the angled placement of type all take into consideration the drippy nature of cream.
