Outdoor sustainable drinking service

This design is a public facility for outdoor sustainable drinking service. Water is no doubtable a dispensable part of our daily life, however, it is not convenient for people who work or exercise outdoors to find potable water.

- The purpose of the design

To catch up on the trend of healthy lifestyle, people nowadays have various outdoor exercises such as riding, climbing and hiking, ect. And it is not convenient nor particle for people to carry sufficient water all day long. Following this, the needs of having potable water outdoors is becoming stronger and stronger.

- Instruction

1.Air-Extractor has a built-in positioning module and burglar alarm, and the handing crew can check and fix the machine regularly. People can also easily locate an Air-Extractor nearby via app.

2.Air-Extractor is a public welfare facility, its mode of operation is easy and simplified. There is only one button on the facility, all you need to do is simpler press it.

- Theory

The fan absorbs the water vapor from air via solar power, then the condensation system starts generating water. The other two fans are for heat dissipation. The whole design manifests the combination between technic and environmental resource.

- Style Design

1.As the operation theory of Air-Extractor is to absorb water vapor from air and condensate, we chose DNA as element to permute and transform.

2.We make the shape of Air-Extractor similar to a ball in order to give it more area to meet the air, thus enable it to absorb water vapor as much as possible. Besides, we make it lot of holes to dissipate the heat.

3.There is a shelving unit on the lower holder, which is designed to make it more convenient for people to place their items when they get water.
