This was a very simple logo project, and I think I can give the credit to my client for that. At our initial meeting she was very clear on color and concept, but no execution. She requested that I use a lotus flower as the basis of their mark. She explained that after much discussion, they felt the lotus was a good symbol for what they do. I was on board with this and felt like I could provide a simple mark using these elements as a starting point. As always, I went to my sketch book first and started trying to has things out.

I usually try to provide my client with three solid options, but on this project I had a mark that I was clearly in favor of, and my client was in agreement.

I always show my client that their mark works stacked, horizontal and in single colors.

I also throw in a couple of test sheets for my clients. I put these together very quickly, to simply show how the logo looks in relation to a photo from their industry.
