American Osteopathic Association Sponsors Conference
For more than 25 years, Dr. Frank Brettschneider has served as president of Port Huron Ear, Nose, and Throat in Port Huron, Michigan. At the office, he works as a physician and surgeon. Dr. Frank Brettschneider maintains membership with several professional affiliations, one of which includes the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

With a membership of 129,000 osteopathic physicians and osteopathic medical students, the AOA promotes public health and scientific research. Founded in 1892, it also serves as the certification organization for osteopathic physicians as well as the accrediting affiliation for all osteopathic medical schools.

Each year, the AOA sponsors an Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition (OMED), with the 2017 event scheduled for October 7 through 11 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The annual conference brings together thousands of osteopathic physicians, medical students, and other health professionals who work across the country. Now in its 122th year, OMED offers more than 40 hours of continuing medical education credit, features keynote speakers, and includes hands-on activities. Attendees can also network with like-minded individuals and participate in alumni gatherings.
