Flickr Blog Promotion | Typographical Project

This project that began in early July was based around the idea of creating a mockup poster and mockup banner that would promote my Flickr blog, by the way of combining both typographical and illustration-based content together.

The set visual style for this project would be that of simplicity, with both text and illustration content being kept to a minimum, for the sake of a more quicker and easier viewing experience.

As you can see, the final outcome shown below promotes the Flickr blog with the use of text being placed on top of a camera lens in order to give the impression, in a visual metaphoric manner, that the content they will soon come across is bigger and better than they may think.

The display mockups for this project include a printed poster that is contained within a glass frame, and another that would be seen as a cover photo for a Facebook page.
