An epiphany can arrive at any moment, when you least expect it and when there seems to be no solution to the problem you are struggling with. I wanted to represent this "stroke of genius" with a more scientific approach: in particular taking inspiration from the phenomenon of optic dispersion that occurs when a ray of light passes through a prism. The white light is refracted into a spectrum of colors, analogous to when the brain arrives at a key realization and suddenly it is able to grasp reality clearly.
