Event Design
For this translation project, each of us picked one poem in an unknown language without any given translation. Starting translating the poem from drawing, building, and shooting. After that, we were given the English translation of the original poem, then interpret and refine the things that we were done. For the final deliverables, we were able to design anything that we want. I chose an Arabic poem which is about voice, and I used the original sound wave of reading the poem as the approach to translating the poem. The final deliverable is a system design for a poetry event.
