STAIRCASE'D

A staircase comprises three parts: stringers, treads, and risers. In this design, two of the three components are missing. The stringer, the side of the staircase, is simply a void. The same goes for the vertical riser. The tread is where your feet go, and it is only this horizontal plane where there is a surface. Constructed from square steel bars and smoked black glass for an understated, minimalist effect.
